New bird in the Museum!

This beautiful Corsair just landed in Driggs and is on display in the Warbirds Museum.

Built in 1951, this F4U-1 Corsair flew off the USS Boxer in Korea. The Corsair’s 2200 hp Pratt & Whitney made it capable of 400 mph and therefore the fastest aircraft in World War II. The paint scheme of this aircraft is that of the VC3 fighter squadron. This beauty is owned by John French of Picabo Idaho, and we are grateful to have it visit us for a while. Don’t miss it!
